The 'web' Enumservice

This Enumservice points from a phone number (or ENUM domain) to the address of a web resource. The web address can either be an "http" or an "https" (secure - SSL/TLS) address, and this Enumservice type has subtypes for each of those URI schemes.

Enumservice type: web
Enumservice subtype: http, https
Valid URI schemes: http, https (with the respective subtype)
Specified in: RFC 4002

The HTTP protocol itself is defined in RFC 2616, which also defines the 'http' URI scheme. The definitions of the secure variant of both the protocol and URI scheme are contained in RFC 2818.

There's currently work underways to clarify some aspects of HTTP in the IETF httpbis working group.
